Latest Updates on UltimateDemon

Hi,

We have been hard at work in the past 2 weeks and today we would like to take this opportunity to update you on UltimateDemon’s development:

1. - We have just released UltimateDemon 1.0.1.0
2. - We have increased the number of Web2.0 sites to 39.
3. - We have added a new web directories module.
4. - You can now self-add web2.0 sites using the script ELGG
5. - You can now self-add web directories using the script PHPLD.
6. - We have also added a scraper into UltimateDemon. You can now scrape for self-add sites within the software.
7. - You can now use catchall emails within UltimateDemon.

 

Upcoming linkwheel feature

That is not all. In the coming weeks, we will be adding link wheel support into UltimateDemon. We will also setup a forum for all our users.

 

Regarding upgrading fee

Before I end this email. I would like to clarify a common misunderstanding about the one-time fee of UltimateDemon.

You do not have to pay $147 every 2 years. This is optional. It is only required if we release a new major version and your purchase date is more than 2 years ago. You can choose NOT to upgrade.

 Your current copy of UltimateDemon will still function even if you didn’t upgrade.

BUGS

1. Sites with default category > 255 characters are not able to add

to the task. This is now fixed.

 

2. UD attempt to process deleted rows. This is now fixed.

 

3. Under high load, UD will hit a deadlock situation which causes it

to freeze. As a result data lost may occur as the changes does not

get saved into the database. This is now fixed.

 

4. User is not able to select email from the account profile drop

down if they have “auto randomize” turned off in the account

profile screen. This is now fixed.

 

5. Site detector does not always detect sites when “All” is used.

This is now fixed.

 

6. Live link report always extract all records, ignoring the filter.

This is now fixed.

 

CHANGES

1. UltimateDemon now support self-adding of ELGG Web 2.0 sites and

PHPLD directories.

 

2. You can now scrape sites directly within UD and use the site

detector to add them into the software.

 

NOTE: Proxy servers are highly recommended if you want to use the

scraper.

 

To prevent IP ban, we have made the scraper to only allow one

search to be performed at a time.

 

To further prevent IP from getting banned, we have also added

“Google Friendly” mode in the scraping process. It will slow down

the scraping process if there are little or no proxy server

defined. It speeds up when you have a lot of working proxy servers

added.

 

3. Now you can use catchall emails within UD.

 

4. Improved the randomness of usernames and increases the number of

pre-spun usernames to 30.

 

5. Increased the pre-spun first & last names from 10 to 20. This will

help to improve the uniqueness of username.

 

6. Default time for verifying email increased from 3 minutes to 10

minutes. This will greatly improve success rate.

 

7. Default retry increased from 2 to 3. This will give UD more time

to check if an email containing the activation link has arrived.

 

8. Smart break (#break#) support added to the description field for

bookmark details.

 

9. Improved site detector detection mechanism. It is now able to

detect more supported open source variations.

 

10.A new Visual Aid provider “Imagetyperz” has been added.

 

11.Saving Visual Aid settings now warn user if they have entered the

credentials but have not set up the priority. This will minimize

cases whereby user did not realise that they have not enable the

Visual Aid service.

 

12.Added a “Helper” under proxy setting screen. User can now use the

“Helper” to enter private proxy server information.

 

13.You can now specify the submitter to stop submitting a task once

a certain number of completed items is reached.

 

NOTE: Due to multi-threading, you might end up with slightly more

completed items than what you have specified.
