New ABC Version
Hello All,
Version 2.0.1.7 was just released. Yaaa! Happy Days!

How to upgrade or install
If you go to the Plugins Menu in your WP Dashboard, find the ABC plugin listed. Right under it will be a notice that a new version is available. Click to ‘upgrade automatically’.My distribution server staggers the messages (just like WordPress) so as not to overload the server. If you do not see it, check later and refresh the page.
If you are using a version lower than 2.0 ONLY:
you MUST manually upgrade to the latest version. All of you information will be saved.
Go to the Automatic Backlink Creator Blog here:

on the right side in the sidebar is a link for a download to the latest version. Download it and save it. Go to the plugins menu and deactivate and delete any older version below version 2.0.
Now upload and install the new version. Register it with the same name and email, then use the same name and API to use it. Update your ping list, turn on the indexer, and you are good to go back to work.
**Please Note **
As of May 1 (to give enough notice for what is 2 minutes worth of work) we will no longer support any version lower than version 2.0. Soon after May 1, I will cut off lower 2.0 versions as well. There is new code that only works if you are using the higher versions.
What is New in this release
Some ‘under the hood’ bug fixes that have been bothering us! Improved performance code changes.
There is also a new search box for the links and articles. Go ahead and play with it.
There is also now going to be showing in the article grid the exact URL of where your articles are published.
This brings up some noteworthy points. The URL you get may be different than the actual URL depending on the permalinks that a user has set up.
Hopefully everyone is using the permalink structure I recommend in the training videos.
Keep in mind that you should build backlinks to your backlinks. You can do that by building backlinks to your articles in the network. Remember, that as you are doing that for your articles, so are others doing it for theirs on your site.
Hide the articles if you wish
If having the ABC articles on your site is an issue, then use the ‘Hide’ feature we built in or any other free plugin that does the same. If that still is not good, put the plugin on any WordPress site and have the articles place there. It can be a domain you are not using, a sub domain or in a sub directory.
I have a video on how you can monetize the articles as well. Double dip on it if you will.
You do NOT have to have the plugin installed on the site you are looking to promote.
This is a common misunderstanding. You can install the plugin on Site A, and from that admin panel promote Site D, E, K, L and all of your web 2.0 properties, articles and videos!
Neat, right? On the news tab, I put a great little example (on the bottom) of how to use the indexer. Check it out, it has been there for weeks now.
What’s Next
There is still a lot coming. We are still upgrading the plugin with new features. The project management software I am using with the team is booked for the next 12 weeks with stuff for ABC. I hope to have it all done sooner than that, but we’ll see.
Points To Remember:
Upgrade to the latest version! Older versions are no longer being supported and will be turned OFF soon.
The database is getting cleaned. If you have links and articles that are in more than 2 or 3 related categories, clean them up as they are getting deleted! Possibly so will your account.
